Thank you to all the candidates for being willing to take the first step in assuming the serious responsibility of being a school board member.

The Warren County Republicans are interested in learning more about each of the school board candidates, so we have created five questions that will provide valuable information to our voters about each candidate.  The answers were not edited or altered.

Warren County has six major public schools, public schools are the heart of our communities.  Public schools are also the largest employers and recipients of our property taxes and our State’s budget.  Virtuous and accountable stewards of our most precious resources, our children, are essential to the survival of our Nation.

We are aware that this is a non partisan volunteer position, however we believe that informed voters are the best voters.

We will upload the answers to the questionnaire as they come in.  To learn more about the candidates, please visit their social media pages.  To learn more about Senate File 496 (Parental Bill of Rights, age appropriate books, transparency in education) click on the link: https://www.legis.iowa.gov/docs/publications/LGR/90/SF496.pdf
